Welcome back to life everyone. The summer is pretty much gone from sight and school/internship and everything else is back on the plate. August, the great vacation month in the DC Metro area was slow going, but this past shabbat dinner rocked. Our new neighbor, a young Jewish women, came in "just fro some challah" declared, "I thought Jews were all old and fuddy. You are guys are so fun." And that was when a few of us gathered to pray. My my! So much to be done and so much fun to be had. Tonight I kick off the Sacred Evenings event, monthly meetings of meditaiton and music. There is no telling who will show up, for better or worse, But I am excited!
