Being how we live in a world where the President (read puppet figurehead with no actual constitutional power) of Iran may very well turn out to be Jewish nothing I write here can be that strange. Regardless lately I feel like I've been meeting even more new people that are coming to our Moishe House. We have always had a constant flow of new people but this last month or two more so than before. It has always been a challenging for myself personally to engage new people full throttle and really allow them to entire the community in the best way. But several of these recent new people have so far pushed there way in, not in the pushy Israeli way (baruch hashem), but in a more subdued but damn-if-I'm-not-going-to-be-involved sort of way. Its pretty gumptious and I like it. I'm a not completely unrelated point I've been thinking about starting to float our Shabbat dinners to community members apartments atleast once a month. We have old timer's who have been with us from the beginning and those aforementioned new comers who show alot of involvement potential who might be interested. Shira and I have discussed forming a Community Leadership Board down the line, the idea itself is only in its infancy but I think its a good one. We know we are Moishe House residents but there are other community members with just as much leadership skills as ourselves and the current system doesn't utilize them enough. Besides, Moishe House should be a democracy not a Saddam-ocracy.
With peace and love,
Joshua Avraham Sotomayer Einstein
