This past month was a lot of fun. I went back to my hometown, Evanston, IL, to visit my family and old friends. I also went on an awesome short trip to Santa Fe, NM. I spent most of my time in Santa Fe exploring the few hundred art galleries on Cannon rd and the Georgia O'keeffe museam. They were fabulous. Santa Fe is an awesome place to go for any creatively inclined person.
I was great to get back to Cleveland who's 10 degree weather was a heat wave in comparison to the -35 degree wind chill in Chicago. It feels really good to be back at the local ceramics co-op Clay Works, in the basement of the Coventry Library. I am currently working a tea pot, large fruit/salad bowls as well as a few large vases. I defiantly picked up a few new design ideas from art in Santa Fe and I am hoping to get down to the Cleveland Art Museum soon, now that it is back open.
