Reflections

This past year Moishe House Great Neck began. An adventure that I am proud to say has brought many great things to the Great Neck community. Alas, we have moved on to a bigger and better house; however, that is not to say that the last house was not wonderful.

Starting with our first large scale event, our Super bowl party where we celebrated a Giants victory. A wonderful time, where we got 35 people to come enjoy, and showed our community that Moishe House is the place to be. From there, we brewed plenty of beer with my friend David Edelman. Of course, once the beer setlled, we threw a party to drink it all (over 5 gallons). The highlight of the year had to be the Shabbat night where we had Jeremy over in Great Neck. That will be a night that will never be forgotten, although for some it will never be remembered. We sang, we ate, we drank, and we became a community. We had ups, we had downs, but mostly ups.

Our old house was a great place, and this month, we brought it to a close. 391 Great Neck rd. you will be missed,  but bigger and better things are ahead for all us. Stay tuned for our first month in the new house!
