Well, I guess I should introduce myself first.... Julia here, from the East Bay Moishe House in Oakland. I'm new to the house and am excited about all there is and to look forward to and to make happen! I have my first Shabbat in the house coming up this Friday and am looking forward to that.
I was curious when I moved in about how we were advertising ourselves/events and learned that we had a group on facebook, but not on the ever-growing Twitter. I thought this could also be a great way to publicize events and things we are getting involved in so I started an account for us. I think it could not only be another great way for us to interact and learn about what the other houses are up to, but a way for our friends and anyone who is curious to see what we're up to as well! I hope to see some of you on there soon!

I never caught on to the Twitter craze, but I am also curious about how to reach people effectively & on the lookout for new opportunities to do so. I'm looking forward to hearing how Twittering MH is working out for you guys!
